It is upon us!  This weekend Bums, Hobos, Hobums, Bumhos, and Ho-Bum Alum will congregate with 16 other men's and women's teams.

We fought through the dense smog of adversity that was CofC and the City of Charleston... doing whatever evil deeds they could to constrict us.

It's cool though, because nothing is more jubilant than the CT-VII.  We're excited to keep up the tradition and can't wait to see all the beautiful familiar faces!

Safe travels to all, and to all a righteous Chuck.

This will be a Spring like those of the past in that the Bums and Hobos will be playing Ultimate, traveling to some of the usual tourneys, having more fun than most... but it will be much more different than it will be usual.

The Joint Summit Classic will be split so that beautiful Bums, Hobos, and other co-eds from other schools can't intermingle.

The Bums will be taking it more seriously than some past years, especially with such a scrumtralescent rookie class.

The Hobos have a coach for the first time and are definitely going somewhere... anyone say Natties??? ALALALALALALA

We will have new fields for the classic Chucktown Throwdown.

USAU is, for one no longer the UPA, but they also redefined the Regions and Sections... bye bye Georgia and Florida!

We have some sweet new threads thanks to SAVAGEultimate.

Ultimately... it's gonna be a great, new year.

Was a splendid success!

Many mammalian thanks to our host Trent "Terrier Derrier" Derrick, and also many thanks to Trent and Austin for the many years they have put into the team.  Hope they had a blast and enjoyed their final tourney as a Bum!

Bums played well, went 2-4, losing 3 close games (one on universe, one by 2 points).  We played GREAT as a team, just had some trouble individually dealing with freezing-your-*****-off cold.

HOBOS!  Went undefeated Saturday and lost by one point to Duke in the Championship, bringing home their second 2nd place finish in a row.  Awesome work! ...and their jerseys looked sweet too.

Good playing to everyone, and we can't wait to play with all of you in the Spring!

...is going to be cold, and it's even colder knowing that the bums and hobos can't take everyone.  But out of respect to those terrier-loving Derricks, we pain-stakingly whittled down our rosters to 15 each.

Friday we will depart on our journey to frosty Boone, NC for a weekend of good, old-fashioned Ultimation.

Should be a good one with lots of healthy competition.

Results to come

Word on the streets is that the Yard will be getting fixed up... THIS SEMESTER!

Hear that Hobos, maybe it'll be up to your new standards and we can practice together like the good ole days.  Not sure if this is solidified yet, but think of it... a nice, flat, grassy, flat field for all to enjoy... *siiiiiigh*

We'll probably have to stay off of it for quite a few weeks, but that's what our good friends at the James Island County Park are for.

This means that let's be prepared to practice at JICP during that span, which means you'll need $1/day to get in, or we can take people out there to get season passes ($25 for non-Charleston residents, $15 for residents).

So let's all hope and pray to Bum almighty that this little Yard project gets underway soon so we can begin a new era in Hobumdom dominance.
