It is upon us!  This weekend Bums, Hobos, Hobums, Bumhos, and Ho-Bum Alum will congregate with 16 other men's and women's teams.

We fought through the dense smog of adversity that was CofC and the City of Charleston... doing whatever evil deeds they could to constrict us.

It's cool though, because nothing is more jubilant than the CT-VII.  We're excited to keep up the tradition and can't wait to see all the beautiful familiar faces!

Safe travels to all, and to all a righteous Chuck.

Not only did the Bums (A/B) play their bums off, I'm pretty sure we also left our trail all over campus and their fields.

The B-Bums played 4 hard fought games Saturday losing some guys to injuries and illness, and played many games with 8 or 9 Bums.  Thankfully, even though they started the day off slow, things eventually started to click a little more and the B-Bums found some more rhythm... although by this point in the day they were tired as @#%&.

The A-bums were grateful to have a whopping 14 players, and even more grateful for no one to get hurt, besides a couple muscle cramps.  We had some strong, fun games against our friends/enemies on Clemson and Georgia Southern, but fell short.  We avenged ourselves from a loss last year to Davidson, winning 13-10 after trailing 9-10.  Sunday we started in the Championship bracket where we started off a little cold to Alabama, but played them practically even the second half, losing 7-15.  Unfortunately, Wake Forest did to us what we did to Davidson, and avenged a Sunday loss from last year.  We used these tougher Sunday games to get some more playing time for our newer guys, and overall it was a great experience for our rookies and for older guys to step up more.

We're looking forward to seeing how everyone progresses, and how that shapes our teams as a whole.

Was a splendid success!

Many mammalian thanks to our host Trent "Terrier Derrier" Derrick, and also many thanks to Trent and Austin for the many years they have put into the team.  Hope they had a blast and enjoyed their final tourney as a Bum!

Bums played well, went 2-4, losing 3 close games (one on universe, one by 2 points).  We played GREAT as a team, just had some trouble individually dealing with freezing-your-*****-off cold.

HOBOS!  Went undefeated Saturday and lost by one point to Duke in the Championship, bringing home their second 2nd place finish in a row.  Awesome work! ...and their jerseys looked sweet too.

Good playing to everyone, and we can't wait to play with all of you in the Spring!

...is going to be cold, and it's even colder knowing that the bums and hobos can't take everyone.  But out of respect to those terrier-loving Derricks, we pain-stakingly whittled down our rosters to 15 each.

Friday we will depart on our journey to frosty Boone, NC for a weekend of good, old-fashioned Ultimation.

Should be a good one with lots of healthy competition.

Results to come

Headin' down to ole stanky, steamy Statesboro, GA (probably my 8th time playing at a tourney there).  Great fields, pending you're at the right one, and that's about it, but still a doozy of a good time.
